Analisis Cohort dalam Evaluasi Pemanfaatan LMS di Perguruan Tinggi (studi kasus: Microsoft Teams)
Abstract
Penelitian ini menganalisis penggunaan Learning Management System (LMS) Microsoft Teams oleh mahasiswa dari dua disiplin akademik yang berbeda di sebuah perguruan tinggi pasca-pandemi, dengan fokus pada mahasiswa program studi manajemen sebagai pengguna novice dan mahasiswa sistem informasi sebagai pengguna advanced. Metodologi yang digunakan adalah cohort analysis, di mana data dikumpulkan melalui survei yang meliputi pertanyaan berbasis skala Likert dan open-ended, dilakukan secara langsung di dalam kelas. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa meskipun kedua kelompok mahasiswa memiliki kemampuan dasar dalam menggunakan Microsoft Teams, mahasiswa sistem informasi lebih nyaman dan sering menggunakan fitur-fitur lanjutan dibandingkan mahasiswa manajemen. Namun, kedua kelompok cenderung kurang memanfaatkan fitur-fitur canggih secara reguler. Evaluasi model regresi yang digunakan mengungkapkan bahwa frekuensi penggunaan dan kenyamanan dengan fitur-fitur lanjutan secara signifikan meningkatkan efektivitas penggunaan LMS. Berdasarkan temuan ini, penelitian menyarankan bahwa peningkatan pelatihan dan dukungan teknis adalah kunci untuk memaksimalkan pemanfaatan LMS, serta memperkuat penggunaan fitur-fitur lanjutan yang dapat meningkatkan keterlibatan dan hasil belajar mahasiswa.
